Our Founder
Samuel Urrutia
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Samuel Urrutia is President and Founder of Grupo Siuma, the holding company of Siuma Capital. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, he is tightly connected with relevant strategic and financial buyers in Latin America.
An entrepreneur at heart, Samuel has successfully founded and sold many companies—chief among which is the sale of Grupo Semusa to Marsh & McLennan—giving him deep firsthand experience in the M&A industry. He formerly served as the President of the Business Counsel of Latin America (CEAL) and is still involved with the organization as a member.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the USMA, a certificate of recognition in M&A from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and a certificate from the INSEAD BoD Program.
